CALL FOR PRESENTERS
Thank you for your interest in submitting a presentation for the 2027 Alaska Statewide Special Education Conference. The Call for Presenters site will open on Wednesday, September 9th, and will close on Friday, Oct. 9th, 2026, at 5 pm (AK time).
The following information will be needed to complete each submission:
Honoraria are not provided for presenters. Hotel, travel, and other costs are at the presenter’s expense. Complimentary registration will be provided for presenters on the day of their breakout session/s.
Accessibility for Our Attendees
As a special education conference, we are committed to ensuring that every presentation is accessible and provides the best possible experience for all attendees. To support this goal, we ask our presenters to follow a few simple guidelines that enhance accessibility, such as using Alt Text, large fonts, clean design templates, and high-contrast colors. We will also provide helpful resources from the Special Education Service Agency and the Alaska Deafblind Project to support you in this effort.
Presenters will be notified of their status by Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026. - All presenter's full name, Organization, and email address
- Presenter's Years of Experience and Role
- Title of Session
- Presentation Description (100-word maximum)
- Instruction Level of Participants who attend your session (Intro., Intermediate, Advanced, or All Experience Levels)
- Target Domains (Admin, Autism, Behavior, etc.)
- Session Length (45 min., 1.5 hrs, 3 hrs, or a 2-day pre-conference credit course)
- Delivery Style (Take & Make, Lecture, Open Forum, Panel Discussion, or Webinar)
- Scheduling Restrictions
- Audio Visual Needs
